Our mission is to provide a nurturing, non-medical residential environment that supports expectant and postpartum mothers through community, stability, education, and compassionate care. We are committed to fostering a space that promotes wellness, personal growth, and mutual respect while honoring each resident’s individual journey.
We welcome prospective clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences and strive to create an inclusive, affirming environment where every resident feels seen, supported, and valued.
Orientation & Community Welcome
As part of our on-boarding process, all new residents participate in an orientation designed to help you transition comfortably into the home. Orientation includes:
A review of house rules, community expectations, and safety guidelines
An overview of available resources, support services, and daily routines
Time to ask questions and connect with staff
To celebrate your arrival, our orientation also includes a welcome gathering for new residents. This welcome party is an opportunity to:
Meet fellow residents and staff in a relaxed, supportive setting
Begin building community and connection
Feel officially welcomed into the home
Participation in orientation is required, and participation in the welcome gathering is encouraged but optional.
This Acknowledgement & Consent Form is intended to clearly outline expectations, boundaries, and responsibilities to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all residents and staff. Please read each section carefully. If you have any questions, we encourage you to ask before signing.
By joining our community, you are entering a shared living space built on trust, accountability, and care. We look forward to supporting you during your stay.
Acknowledgement of Non-Medical Facility
I understand and acknowledge that the maternity home is a private residence and not a licensed medical facility or hospital.
I understand that:
No medical care, diagnosis, or treatment is provided on-site
Staff and affiliates are not acting as medical professionals unless otherwise stated in writing
2. Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility
I confirm that my participation and residence in the maternity home is voluntary.
I understand that:
I am responsible for my own physical, emotional, and mental well-being
I may choose to leave the residence at any time, subject to program guidelines and agreements
The maternity home reserves the right to terminate residency if house rules, safety standards, or program requirements are violated
3. House Rules & Community Standards
I agree to comply with all house rules, guidelines, and community standards, including but not limited to:
Respect for staff, residents, and property
Quiet hours and shared space etiquette
Cleanliness, safety, and hygiene expectations
Substance-free environment (unless medically prescribed and disclosed)
Guest and visitation policies
I understand that failure to follow house rules may result in corrective action or dismissal from the program.
4. Confidentiality & Privacy
I agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of:
Other residents
Staff, volunteers, and guests
Any personal information shared within the home or program
I understand that:
I may not record, photograph, or share identifying information about others without written consent
Breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the residence
The maternity home will also take reasonable steps to protect my personal information, in accordance with its confidentiality policies.
5. Screening & Background Verification
I understand that residency is subject to screening procedures, which may include:
Intake interviews
Identity verification
Health, safety, or behavioral screenings
Ongoing assessments for community safety
I agree to participate honestly and understand that misrepresentation may result in denial or termination of residency.
6. Accuracy of Information
I certify that:
All information I have provided is true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge
I will promptly notify staff of any significant changes to my health, pregnancy status, or personal circumstances
I understand that providing false or misleading information may result in immediate termination from the program.
Release of Liability (Non-Medical)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless the maternity home, its owners, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from liability for:
Non-medical incidents
Personal property loss
Voluntary activities undertaken during my stay
This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.

What is a Maternity Home?
is a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for expectant mothers. We offer comprehensive care, including prenatal and postpartum support, educational programs, and comfortable accommodations.
Who can apply?
Our home is open to expectant mothers of any age who need a safe and supportive environment during their pregnancy and postpartum period. We welcome women from all backgrounds and circumstances.
Can I have Guests?
A: Yes, visitors are allowed during designated hours and days with staff approval for special occasions. However, overnight guests are not permitted.
How much is rent?
Rent is required monthly and must be paid by the 5th of each month to avoid a late fee. $1100 a month - $1800 mo*. This covers your accommodation, meals, and access to all our services and programs and equipment. We can arrange payment plans based on individual financial situations. Subject to change*.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a security deposit equivalent to one month's rent is required upon move-in. This deposit is refundable upon move-out, provided there are no damages and all financial obligations are met.
Do you provide any educational programs?
Yes, we offer a comprehensive program of education in areas such as self-care, infant care, independent living skills, counseling, relationships, Full Spectrum Doula Training, and employment. Instruction in nutrition, childbirth, parenting, and homemaking skills are also provided.
What kind of emotional and counseling support is available?
A: We offer individual and group counseling sessions to help residents navigate the challenges and joys of pregnancy and motherhood. Our counselors and support staff are always available to provide emotional support.
